Children's Mental Health
We are “Helping People Succeed” by providing comprehensive mental health services to children in the Treasure Coast area (Indian River, St. Lucie, Okeechobee, and Martin Counties). Children, ages 5 through 18, who are having emotional and/or behavioral problems receive intensive, individualized services. Our treatment model is strength-based and culturally sensitive. We provide treatment in a variety of settings, from home to school to the community. Services include individual therapy, provided by Master’s level therapists, targeted case management provided by Batchelor’s level practitioners, and psychiatric evaluation and medication management provided by board certified pediatric psychiatrists. In collaboration with the schools, we can provide individual and group therapy in the school setting, working with teachers and students to improve the child’s functioning in school. We provide a summer day camp experience for many of our clients who, due to their behaviors and their parents’ financial circumstances, otherwise might not have opportunities for summer experiences. Our treatment focuses on improving the family relationships and may involve family treatment, linkage to needed services, and educating those who support the child in the school and community environment. Our goal is to help our children succeed so that they won’t need us anymore!
