Building Readiness Among Infants Now
B.R.A.I.N. (Building Readiness Among Infants Now) is a universal outreach program offered in partnership with Martin Memorial Hospital and the Healthy Start Coalitions of Martin and St. Lucie Counties. The program provides educational home visits and developmental monitoring to all families with newborns. Parents learn about early brain development and the importance of early nurturing. Families enrolled in this program participate in the Ages and Stages Questionnaire. This monitoring system follows infants in their development through 48 months of age.
