Matt's focus area is what is referred to as the "continuum of care" - as it relates to care for people as they age.
Most of Matt's searches are focused upon Home Health Care, Hospice, Independent/Assisted Living and what's referred to as CCRCs (Continuing Care Retirement Communities) - which consist of Independent Living, Assisted Living and Continuing care (basically 24/7 skilled nursing care or SNF Center - all in a campus/community type of setting), and finally, Skilled Nursing Facilities - SNFs (more traditionally thought of as nursing homes, where sub-acute care is offered, along with long-term care).
Matt's searches can and do involve Clinical (corporate level - Clinical Manager/Chief Nursing Officer, Regional Clinical Directors - RN's who have specific clinical and multi-location mgmt., Directors of Nursing, usually at a specific location, overseeing a facility, Team Leads - RN's with supv. experience in Home Health and/or Hospice, SNF), Reimbursement specialist, Staff Development Coordinators - Quality Improvement types -
Matt also deals with the Operational side - more the business side, and with Executive Directors/Administrators - they manage the operation in total, have responsibility for P&L's, budgets, etc. They can be at the corporate level - VP's of Operations, at the Regional or Area Exec. Dir. who oversee multiple locations and report to VP, then you can go down to the facility location where you also have an Exec. Dir. or Administrator. And again, this can encompass all components of the "continuum of care" - from Home Health through to Skilled Nursing Facilities.
