Description:
McGinnis Loy Finance is proud to be working with an International US-based provider of IT Systems & Services. As one of the largest players in their field, they have annual revenues over US$1.0billion, and their Group Headquarters are based here in the Thames Valley. They are now seeking a Divisional Financial Controller to develop and deliver financial support and reporting activities into the business. Key duties include :

• Full management of the Divisional P&L and Balance Sheet for both management reporting and audit purposes.
• Responsibility for P&L forecasting and annual Budgeting.
• Working with the Management team to develop new and relevant reporting, analysis and forecasting processes in order to provide greater understanding of both costs and revenue and to provide improved control around the business.
• Liaising directly with the business to ensure operational processes (including invoicing) are relevant to the requirements of the business, are streamlined and are congruent with wider Group processes.
• Financial management of any Capital Investment projects
• Ensure compliance under IFRS and Group Finance policies.
• Take ownership of the month-end process and reporting of actuals against budget and forecast providing full explanation of any variances.
• Balance sheet management and reconciliation.
• Responsibility for maintaining records suitable for external audit and Internal UK auditors.
• Management of the Sales Commissions plan.
• Ad hoc analysis as required

To be considered for the position, you should be a fully Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), ideally with degree level education or similar. You should have strong and demonstrable commercial acumen and technical accounting skills, be highly analytical, a self-starter with an in-depth background in month-end reporting as well as process improvement. Previous experience of working within a global IT organisation would be a distinct advantage, and you should be confident and proficient with Excel spreadsheets and large ERP systems (eg SAP, Oracle, Cognos).

The role will offer a base salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience, 10% bonus, car allowance, company pension, healthcare scheme and paid holidays.
